Nayef is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Direct Credit on Hamilton Lane’s Investment Team and head of the firm's Miami office. He is responsible for leading all aspects of the investment process as well as portfolio management. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2013, Nayef was a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance group of GE Capital in New York City. Previously, he held management consulting roles with Booz & Company and the Corporate Executive Board. Nayef currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Venture Forum and holds other board or board observer roles with certain Hamilton Lane portfolio company investments. Nayef received an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
